Getting it together. Finally.

Now that everything is in order with Esquela Vieau, I can concentrate on getting my hours and working on my film. First off I have done some slight sketches for my movie (i.e. storyboards) and I'm well on my way of figuring out how I'm gonna pull it off.
My main idea is a focus on color. Not in a racial sense, more like color as a sensation or mood inside a neighborhood. Particularly the difference between the inside of the school, the outside, and the surrounding neighborhoods that surround the school and beyond. I have already taken a few clips of the neighborhood but I'm still deciding what color each one represents.
Another idea I have was to focus again on the graffiti around Esquela Vieau. I want to set up an interview with government officials as well as residents where graffiti is present, so that I can get a clear understanding of Milwaukee's position on graffiti. I think this is more of a stable idea and I really want to develop it more. I have downloaded all sorts of anti-graffiti pamphlets and read up on the city's website for anti-graffiti movements, so far they all say the same, "Graffiti is not art! Graffiti is a crime! No more graffiti!" So i can't wait to see if there are people who actually like the idea of graffiti or as I call it, "Street Art."
Here are some clips of the places I want to look at. I hope to find some really good conversations when I begin my interviews:
